Insurance & Financial Issues
Insurance companies, with some exceptions, usually do not cover services related to egg donation or surrogacy. However, if you do have insurance coverage for IVF, we will begin by defining and pre-certifying any services which your insurance carrier will cover.
The full range of costs of your treatment cycle will ultimately depend on several factors, including your medical needs and treatment plan; and which donor and/or carrier you choose, since their screening tests, genetic evaluation, and other medical assessments will vary depending their histories and previous testing. Therefore, before exact costs can be determined for your treatment cycle, we must first define your treatment plan AND match you to your chosen donor and/or carrier. At that time, but before you begin medications and treatment, you will then be able to provide you with a complete and itemized breakdown of relevant fees.
All questions regarding insurance coverage, costs and fees for your upcoming treatment should be directed to Kathy Fontan, Financial Counselor, via phone 203-373-1200 or

Thank You.
